Blog 2

I remember reading Ancient Mariner when I was in high school. I didn't pay to much attention to the poem in high school but I really like it now. I think the mariner didn't want any help from anyone. He wanted to get all the credit for anything that happened.

Michael by William Wordsworth was a great poem. You can see that the father loves the son very much. This poem is a great example of some of the families today. My friends that I knew when I was young, our parents all had the same rules and morals. Some of my friends went the wrong way in life even though their parents showed them what was right. I think that some people will use their parents advise or deny it when they leave the home.

William Blake seems to make his poems sad and depressing. The poem Garden of Love, you would think would be happy and cheerful but its not. He also make a church sound horrible and that it should not have been built in that area where he would play. I'm sure that a church can't destroy every flower there. And maybe the church wanted to built there because of how beautiful it was there.

I thought the poem Constancy to an object by Samuel T. Coleridge was very interesting. At first, it was hard to gt plugged into it but at the end, I started to understand. He is seeing his shadow and he is describing him not knowing that it is him. To me he seems a little slow to not know that when the sun is behind him that it makes his shadow. Why would he not know that?
